How to add Request Quote (RFQ) button to WordPress site?

Now both Dealia and your WordPress website are connected. You should see all the blog posts and pages listed in the Items > External Items section in your Dealia admin panel.

Connection through Dealia account

• Register your account on Dealia and once you verify your account, login to Dealia.
• In the Dealia admin panel you should already see the information on the Dashboard page that it has been detected that your website is built in WordPress. Click the link to download the Dealia plugin for WordPress.

• Once you download it, login to your WordPress account and go to the Plugins section > Add New Plugin and then click the Upload Plugin button. Here you can upload the downloaded plugin.

• In WordPress go to the Settings > Permalinks and in the Permalink structure choose any other option than “Plain”. The plugin will not work with the “Plain” option.
• Enter your Dealia login details in WordPress as instructed on the plugin page.

You should now see all your pages and blog posts in the Items > External Items section in your Dealia admin panel. You can set up the request a quote buttons and forms and get quote requests directly from your WordPress website. 

Enable the Request Quote button for specific WordPress page

If you don’t need to add the button to the specific spot on your page, it’s enough if you assign a form to that page in the External Items tab. When you assign a form to the WooCommerce product page, then you will see that the Request Quote button displays next to or in place of the Add to Cart button. You can choose to replace the Add to cart button with the Request Quote button or have both of them visible.

Display the Request Quote button in any spot on WordPress website

If you would like to add the request quote button in any particular place on your WordPress page, you can do it by generating the button code. 

Go to the Dealia admin panel and click the Items > External Items tab.

• Go to the Dealia admin panel and click the Items > External Items tab.
• Find the item (your page or blog post) and click on the drop down arrow next to the “Edit” button.
• Click the Generate button option.

• The get a quote button code will display. Copy the code:

• Edit your WordPress page or blog post and add the shortcode widget where you would like the button to display in your page.
• Paste the code there and Save the page. The Request Quote button should display in the same spot as you embedded it.
